Oh what more joy brings a blogger joy than other blogger’s kind words? thank you so much for all your sweet words to me. I know that’s all we really want is that connection with others. Someday we’ll all meet up in heaven and know each other instantly…hey….member me? Speaking of heaven, I need to first give all my thanks of eternal grace to God for keeping me smoke-free for 22 days now! I couldn’t have done it without Him. Also, ending my toxic 2 year relationship. Praise God! For the sun that ‘s shining now, for this cup of coffee….well you get it. God is in the details. And this soulmate search has officially ended. No i take that back, I have officially surrendered it to God. Where He takes me, who I meet…i am leaving that up to Him. Rented movie actually called Speed-dating. Hope it will inspire me to get out there. Home reading blogs on Friday night. Smoke-free. It’s been creeping up on me, trying to seduce me to come back. I say no way! I just got home from Zumba and I feel refreshed. Sat in sauna and sweated toxins out. How could i even think of it? ok change subject. Broke off 2 year officially on Sunday exboyfriend. Have not called or texted him. This may actually be over for good. It still sucks. So i am going to get a new picture for facebook and other notorious matchmaking sights. The one i have is 10 years old, dreaded. I have looked into speed-dating around here and of course its on a work night….so will keep looking for better day. oh, did get one email back from guy on one sight…he sent me a kiss and a wink that said he was interested. so i replied happily and hopeful with witty words….he replies back “good and u?

another day home from work….of course recommended by doctor. the cough medicine worked great and getting a good night’s sleep helped. so tomorrow is a new day, getting up early to go to the doctor to get my “note” for missed work, seems so silly. with all the germs at work, we are told to wetnap with sanitizer desk, phone, computer…but missing work could be a possible termination? don’t think it will happen but you never know these days. i pray that doesn’t happen of course, i like my job. in the cubicle all day making them money, lots of it too. last quarter i brought in 38k for them in sales, my percent? 7% somehow that doen’t make sense…..that is why i think i had my own businesses prior. i did the math. employer 100% commision employee 7% or whatever they want to pay me. bonuses dependent on 5 other factors…don’t get me started..ok no company bashing allowed on blog or other…i like my job and the flexibility and pay are far superior than other 9 to 5 jobs out there. well, got to go now the new Bachelor is on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh day 4 no cigerettes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yeah! u can do it! has to be my new mantra! thanks to all who stopped by, don’t be shy by the way…..love to hear from you all….

sick of being sick!

still sick. finally got prescription for cough at the only pharmacy open this morning. missed another day at work. good news….cough subsided, slept 4 straight hours without coughing my head off…had half pint of mint chocolate chip icecream…watched stars on ice…talked with best friend in sunny florida while discussing possible move or at least vacation soon. going to bed early tonight, must make it to work tomorrow. last night i had a dream i was in the sound of music, today i actually looked up fostercare and adoption agencies online! just a thought…

Well, it’s a winter wonderland again…stuck in. no cigerettes. had last one yesterday officially, yeah! came down with bad cold past few days stuck inside. yuc. missed another day at work due to storm….. tomorrow’s another day. i can’t believe i made it without a cigerette all day, maybe it’s due to the fact the i’m sick and out of coffee. been drinking tea all day. watching taped dr oz show’s he’s talking about poop again…i like him though, learn something new. took a long nap with my dog, didn’t want to get out of warm bed. excited to start my new year with new goals. it’s going to take lots of discipline. exboyfriend gave me a proposal over the phone with condition of prenup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he literally said to me “deal? or no deal?” I said NO DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it’s not about getting a ring either, he just doesn’t get it. It’s been about all our differences and how they affect us. We are polar opposites. His glass is half empty and i’m half full, he’s a realist, planner….i’m spontaneous. he says i’m always wearing rose colored glasses…i say thanks, that’s a complement…he saves, i spend. anywho. does anyone actually read these random blogs? never done a blog and not doing any spellcheck either, this is suppose to be cathartic right? well, hope to hear from someone, would love any advice ……oh here is a greatest advice. “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”

Hello world in 2010!

I am now an official blogger. I’ve always wanted to be an author, so I guess this is a good start…I suddenly had this ephipany to start a blog calling it the popular cliche 39 and Holding. As you probably discovered, I am 39 years old. My birthday was yesterday and well, to me, this is going to be the year, it has to be. That all my goals miraculously come true, no I make them come true…I love the qoute ”A ship in the harbor is safe, but that’s not what ships are made for.” For me, this is my year of putting my plans into action. I will be blogging about my goals, my life, my ups and downs each day with the hopes of making it a full year of blogging with no excuses. We all need to be held accountable. I however, choose the world to account for me. Any suggestions, advice, inspiration for me is welcomed. Bridget Jones look out. Today I had my last cigerette. Broke up with boyfriend of almost 2 years. Joined gym. No consumption of carbs. Bought myself new motivational cd How to Shop for a Husband, by Janice Leiberman. Took gummie vitamins. Drank only 4 cups of coffee. Did not weigh myself. Put up new shiny calendar on fridge to adhere glossy stick on stars on days I go to gym. Eat. Made potroast, no more fast food. Pray. Read the Bible and asked God to help me with this new year. Love. My dog is my bestfriend at the moment seriously. She is the only one who gives me the unconditional love I so earnestly crave. Ok, this isn’t too boring now is it? Here in official cyberspace I will jot down my top 10 New Year’s Goals (not resolutions sounds sad, I’m an optimist) drumroll please …….

1. Find soulmate and get engaged

2. Lose 30lbs.

3. Go to gym 3x week min.

4. Quit smoking.

5. Drink more water.

6. Publish an article.

7. Finish writing spiritual memoir.

8. Start a new business serving God.

9. Go to Florida to visit best friend swim with dolphins and get over fear of flying finally

10. Save,budget,tithe, get the whole money thing down once and for all.
